The project

Il progetto ha come finalità la ricerca, campionatura e studio di  xenoliti o noduli mantellici trasportati in superficie come inclusi nelle lave, nei depositi piroclastici o in neck, dicchi e sill associati all’attività vulcanica cenozoica. Le aree che si indagheranno sono: Baker Rocks (sia la morena che la spiaggia), Harrow Peaks, Greene Point, Mount Overlord, Parasite Cone, Navigator Nunatak, Cape Hallett, Coulman Island, Mandible Cirque, Random Hills, Handler Ridge, Mount Finch, Eldridge Bluff, Cape Washington, Cape King, Apostrophe Island, Shield Nunatak, Tinker Nunatak, Malta Plateau, Mount Rittmann e Mount Melbourne.
